Axis T8645 Poe+ Over Coax Compact Kit | 01489-001

The Axis T8645 PoE+ Over Coax Compact Kit (01489-001) is a two-adapter solution engineered to transmit network data and Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+) over existing coaxial cable infrastructure. This kit facilitates the migration from analogue CCTV to IP cameras without the requirement to re-pull new Ethernet cabling to each camera position.

Key Features

• Transmits both network data and PoE+ power across installed coaxial cable runs, eliminating the need for separate power supplies or new Ethernet infrastructure at the camera location.
• Supplied as a complete two-adapter kit, comprising a camera-end adapter and a network-interface adapter to create a single-channel conversion path.
• Features a compact camera-end adapter form factor designed to fit inside standard camera housings and conduit back boxes for a tidy installation.
• Supports a staged migration approach, allowing individual analogue cameras to be replaced with Axis network cameras one at a time while the existing coax infrastructure remains in service.
• Retains existing coaxial cable investments, avoiding the time and cost associated with re-cabling difficult or disruptive camera positions.
